Well, everyone else seems to have one of these, so I may as well jump on the blogging bandwagon! Bear with me while I figure out how this thing works. It took me long enough to figure out what the heck a blog was!
Riverwood's (which can be found at http://www.riverwoodsbooks.com/) is operated by myself, Shelley, with a little acquisition help from my husband Dan (he likes to shop for books!). Our home in Alberta, Canada is not only filled to the rafters with books, but is also shared with a variety of fur kids - three dogs (Kishi, Hoochie & Mischief) and 2 cats (Moe & Whisper). It's a bit of a zoo really, but we love animals and take great joy in their presence in our home. Don't worry - the critters are not allowed in the book room!
It's an extremely balmy winter day here in Alberta, with the temperature sitting around 0 celsius (or 32 Fahreinheit for you Americans)...... in January yet!! Our normal winter temperature for this time of year would be aboout 20-30 degrees colder - so this doesn't bode well for Febrary & March! Winter does not skip Alberta so the very cold weather is yet to come, that's guaranteed.
As you can see, winter has not entirely passed us by!
